PERMIT HOLDER'S
RESPONSIBILITIES

The building and development permit’s primary role is to protect the property owner and creditors by assuring that the development is in conformity with regulations, by-laws and the National Building Code.

When the building or the development permit is obtained, there are various responsibilities that have to be met by the permit holder in order to insure that the terms and conditions are respected.
