PLANNING AND ZONING

The Royal District Planning Commission offers support to communities in the preparation of their plans. The Development Officer assures that any proposed development conforms with the Municipal or Rural Plan and the zoning requirements of the community.

SUBDIVISION

The Royal District Planning Commission's Development Officer receives applications to subdivide the land, verifies their conformity with the proper authorities and approves the subdivision plans.

BUILDING

The Building Inspector for the Royal District Planning Commission issues building and development permits and performs inspections to insure that all development complies with by-laws, regulations and the National Building Code.

PUBLIC INFORMATION

The Royal District Planning Commission offers public information on land use within the district.
