Protecting and Conserving Water Resources:
A challenge for all of us

 
The Royal District Planning Commission held a public presentation and day long presentation on Protecting and Conserving Water Resources: A Challenge for all of us by Dr. Hans Schreier on February 22nd  and 23rd. Dr. Hans Schreier is a Professor at the Institute for Resources and Environment, at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada. He has worked extensively on water problems throughout the developing world and in Canada.

 “ Hans Schreier has spent a career making a difference in the lives of Canadians and people around the world. His ability to translate his knowledge and research into real and useable information has put him at the forefront of watershed and water reuse issues around the world. He can speak the language of the water manager in Vancouver , the teenager in Central America or the village elder in Nepal. Hans ' contribution to water issues is too great to ever be measured."
